12/27/2023:  We had planned on spending the Christmas holidays with family in Raleigh as has been our tradition. But a realistic assessment of my current challenges with our combined health issues made me question my ability to make the four hour drive to Raleigh and back in heavy holiday traffic.

So I contracted with a local shuttle service to drive us to and from Raleigh for our Christmas visit.  This decision took so much pressure off me knowing we could safely enjoy our visit with family.  We left Blowing Rock on Friday, December 22, and returned to Blowing Rock on Wednesday, December 27. 

The EZ Shuttle Shuttle Service was outstanding. The owner, Richard, drove us to Raleigh and back efficiently and safely. I would recommend his service to anyone.  ~L.S.
